Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully-furnished. It was wonderful to have our picnic lunches on the edge of the river at the foot of the gardens. So relaxing, I will definitely book another holiday here! — Kay Davies, 07 Jul 2015
Breathtaking scenery on the drive up to Nairn, many stunning photo opportunities. We stayed in the cottage in February this year 2015. Fantastic weather for the weekend we were there. The owners were very friendly and the cottage was cosy and a home from home. The grounds are large and there is a little walk way down to the river bank where you can sit amd enjoy the night sky. We will definitely be taking a trip there again, and taking the bikes up there is so much to explore. — Ruth Allanson, 27 Jun 2015
We stayed at Nairn Riverside Escape for 3 nights and had a brilliant time. The grounds are in a stunning location – right on the River Nairn, which is great for watching the birds in the morning with a coffee. The grounds are very large without feeling like a holiday camp especially in the evening sitting by the river with a glass of wine (or two!) and a BBQ / bonfire - it's simply bliss. The owners were lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area. There’s so much to do in Nairn – the beach is a 45 minute stroll from Riverside Escape along the river which is ideal for fishing and bird spotting, close by there are championship golf courses, Cawdor castle is a short drive away (not to be missed!) and loads of fantastic local restaurants. A short walk along the beach there is a huge playground with zip wire for children and an indoor public swimming pool if the weather is unusually unsettled. There are lots of short drives close by that take you into the highlands with plenty to see from stunning picturesque mountain ranges to wildlife like red squirrels and deer. We had a fantastic mini break – very relaxing and will certainly be back, Nairn Riverside Escape a true Scottish gem! — Lawson Nines, 23 Jun 2015
