Andy and Jenny ,

Another glorious week in Spindrift. Lovely wee cottage and delightful hosts. We were fortunate that the weather was kind so we spent most of our time on the riverbank where our 2 miniature schnauzers loved paddling around in the water. We have already booked to go back in the autumn! Thank you Tasha and Dean for a memorable week again.

Margo and Andy Dear,

Tasha and Dean are very welcoming and Spindrift Cottage very comfortable. Everything you need and very clean. The riverside is a great place to relax and Bertie loved the river. There are lots of places nearby to visit, we even saw dolphins playing from Fort George! The beaches are fantastic. Definitely recommended!

Linda Wells,

Yet another short break at Spindrift cottage. We love coming here, it's so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage has everything you need, is comfortable and cozy and the double bed has to be the most comfortable bed in a holiday let we have ever slept in. Tasha and Dean are very welcoming, having stayed here a few times now it really does feel like a home away from home. This time we explored the coastal road towards Aberdeen with some truly amazing beaches and Took a drive down to Aviemore. So much more to explore when we return.

Sharon Maslen,

We’ve just returned from a stunning week in Nairn. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, cosy and clean. One of the most spacious and hygienic caravans we have ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable and there was everything you needed for a self catering holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and the children loved watching dvds and playing games in the evenings it was also glorious to walk down to the river and completely relax in the warm sunshine on the river bank. We also enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the chickens roam free. Th owners were very friendly and gave us lots of advice on where to visit in the local area. We visited the local beach, Brodie Castle, Loch Ness, Inverness and the local whiskey distillery. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return very soon.

Stayed in Spindrift cottage for 2 nights, the cottage has everything you need, everything! Space, extremely clean & a comfortable bed! Home from home. Situated on the river Nairn, depending on your break, sat by & listening to the river is completely relaxing, or walking & taking in the views, Nairn fishing town itself is a short drive away which has a lovely beech, it's an old fashioned town but great to explore, Inverness is 20 min drive if you need that city fix! Loch ness is a further 25 min drive, so location wise the cottage fantastic! The owners Tasha & Dean? Well, nothing is too much trouble, ever so friendly, helpful & always on hand, will be back & looking forward to a relaxing summers evening sat by the river with a glass of wine..... Or two! I can not fault anything!

dean moore,

Lovely quiet location, gorgeous wildlife and brilliant welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Spent 4 wonderful days in the cottage with my husband and two children. It was very comfortable with everything you needed. Dean and Natasha made us feel very welcome. The garden area down by the river was amazing, my husband did a spot of fishing while we sat back and roasted march mellow on the open fire. We explore some of the local sites, this is a great base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland. Can't wait to return in the summer.

sharon maslen,

We stayed at Riverside Escape for 5 days in July.We had our 10year grandaughter with us,we were a bit worried on arrival that there wouldn't be enough for her to do,but she loved it.The Caravan was great had everything in it to make our stay very comfortable. We loved the camp fire and barbecue area, where we spent most evevings. We saw a deer our first evening. The setting was amazing.Enjoyed the riverside walks. We will be booking again.

Brenda Duguid,

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully-furnished. It was wonderful to have our picnic lunches on the edge of the river at the foot of the gardens. So relaxing, I will definitely book another holiday here!

Kay Davies,

Breathtaking scenery on the drive up to Nairn, many stunning photo opportunities. We stayed in the cottage in February this year 2015. Fantastic weather for the weekend we were there. The owners were very friendly and the cottage was cosy and a home from home. The grounds are large and there is a little walk way down to the river bank where you can sit amd enjoy the night sky. We will definitely be taking a trip there again, and taking the bikes up there is so much to explore.

Ruth Allanson,

We stayed at Nairn Riverside Escape for 3 nights and had a brilliant time. The grounds are in a stunning location – right on the River Nairn, which is great for watching the birds in the morning with a coffee. The grounds are very large without feeling like a holiday camp especially in the evening sitting by the river with a glass of wine (or two!) and a BBQ / bonfire - it's simply bliss. The owners were lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area. There’s so much to do in Nairn – the beach is a 45 minute stroll from Riverside Escape along the river which is ideal for fishing and bird spotting, close by there are championship golf courses, Cawdor castle is a short drive away (not to be missed!) and loads of fantastic local restaurants. A short walk along the beach there is a huge playground with zip wire for children and an indoor public swimming pool if the weather is unusually unsettled. There are lots of short drives close by that take you into the highlands with plenty to see from stunning picturesque mountain ranges to wildlife like red squirrels and deer. We had a fantastic mini break – very relaxing and will certainly be back, Nairn Riverside Escape a true Scottish gem!

Lawson Nines,
