Riverside Holiday Home

There are simply not enough superlatives to describe this holiday home. Beautifully & peacefully located. I truly chilled out. Comfortable, clean & well equipped. My stay was 12 days but I wanted it to go on longer. Welcoming & attentive hosts. Can't wait to return :-)

Gill Harrington,
Riverside Holiday Home

We had a lovely holiday in the holiday home, although the weather was typical for February the heating was fabulous. Our beds were so comfy and the holiday home is beautiful and clean, very quiet little spot so relaxing. Dean and Tash are lovely and friendly. We will definitely love to stay again.
Nairn is one of our favourite places to visit. Beautiful country side surrounding the area, with lots of places to visit, with historic sites.

Diane bromley,

We spent a few days here, Tash and Dean are the perfect hosts. Riverside is stunning and so peaceful to watch the chickens and ducks, and relax at the summerhouse by the river. Nairn is a beautiful little town with miles of stunning sandy beaches. Our border collie loved it.

Andy and Jenny ,

Another glorious week in Spindrift. Lovely wee cottage and delightful hosts. We were fortunate that the weather was kind so we spent most of our time on the riverbank where our 2 miniature schnauzers loved paddling around in the water. We have already booked to go back in the autumn! Thank you Tasha and Dean for a memorable week again.

Margo and Andy Dear,

Tasha and Dean are very welcoming and Spindrift Cottage very comfortable. Everything you need and very clean. The riverside is a great place to relax and Bertie loved the river. There are lots of places nearby to visit, we even saw dolphins playing from Fort George! The beaches are fantastic. Definitely recommended!

Linda Wells,

Yet another short break at Spindrift cottage. We love coming here, it's so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage has everything you need, is comfortable and cozy and the double bed has to be the most comfortable bed in a holiday let we have ever slept in. Tasha and Dean are very welcoming, having stayed here a few times now it really does feel like a home away from home. This time we explored the coastal road towards Aberdeen with some truly amazing beaches and Took a drive down to Aviemore. So much more to explore when we return.

Sharon Maslen,

We’ve just returned from a stunning week in Nairn. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, cosy and clean. One of the most spacious and hygienic caravans we have ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable and there was everything you needed for a self catering holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and the children loved watching dvds and playing games in the evenings it was also glorious to walk down to the river and completely relax in the warm sunshine on the river bank. We also enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the chickens roam free. Th owners were very friendly and gave us lots of advice on where to visit in the local area. We visited the local beach, Brodie Castle, Loch Ness, Inverness and the local whiskey distillery. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return very soon.

Michelle,

Stayed in Spindrift cottage for 2 nights, the cottage has everything you need, everything! Space, extremely clean & a comfortable bed! Home from home. Situated on the river Nairn, depending on your break, sat by & listening to the river is completely relaxing, or walking & taking in the views, Nairn fishing town itself is a short drive away which has a lovely beech, it's an old fashioned town but great to explore, Inverness is 20 min drive if you need that city fix! Loch ness is a further 25 min drive, so location wise the cottage fantastic! The owners Tasha & Dean? Well, nothing is too much trouble, ever so friendly, helpful & always on hand, will be back & looking forward to a relaxing summers evening sat by the river with a glass of wine..... Or two! I can not fault anything!

dean moore,

Lovely quiet location, gorgeous wildlife and brilliant welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Heidi,

Spent 4 wonderful days in the cottage with my husband and two children. It was very comfortable with everything you needed. Dean and Natasha made us feel very welcome. The garden area down by the river was amazing, my husband did a spot of fishing while we sat back and roasted march mellow on the open fire. We explore some of the local sites, this is a great base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland. Can't wait to return in the summer.
